Why Day Care? A question I have been asked all my life ... why day care? The only response I will ever have is "it's in my blood, my destiny" and it has always been that way. In a time when "day care" was not a popular place, I always felt that I could make a difference, and I feel that I have. Day care can be a wonderful place for children to grow, learn and develop to their maximum potential; they just have to find the right one. Before entering the child care field, I took a child development class and elected to do my research paper on "the long term effects of child care". What I found out then, was information that I will retain forever. At the time, the results were overwhelming positive; longer friendships, higher level of education attained, more successful marriages, more success in the work place, and most importantly very high self-esteem (just to name a few). What a gift to give your children, things that will last a lifetime.
So I dove in head first, taking on the world of child care. My thoughts were big impressive buildings, lots of children, modern and high tech equipment... the list goes on. So I spent years working in the field as a Center Director, first for a smaller Christian organization and then a large corporation to learn the "ins and outs" of the field, and I did. Some good and some bad. I left with the experiences that I could make a difference. I now own and operate a small, high quality facility with certified teachers. Being the owner, and being a mom, I have a vested interest in my program, my career and my children. I only ask that you come and see what we are all about!
